MOREHEAD —
MOREHEAD A 33-year-old Morehead woman was killed Thursday morning after a two-vehicle accident on Ky. 32 near the 11-mile marker in Rowan County, according to a Kentucky State Police report.
A 2000 Chevrolet pickup driven by Dustin J. Rayburn, 21, of Morehead crossed the center line and crashed into the 2000 Jeep Cherokee driven by Wendy S. Williams. The Jeep overturned onto the westbound shoulder. The accident happened at 9:25 a.m.
Williams was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she later died from injuries.
Rayburn was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington where he is listed in stable condition.
