Man flees police, struck by car

The Independent

MOREHEAD — The driver of a motorcycle is in stable condition in a Lexington hospital after fleeing police on foot and being struck by a car on I-64 Friday night.

Steven Reilly, 21, was operating a 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed on westbound I-64 near the 113 mile marker. He was stopped at mile-marker 108 and then fled on foot. While in the right traffic lane of eastbound I-64, Reilly was struck by a 2007 Honda Odyssey.

He was airlifted to UK Hospital where he is in serious but stable condition.
