The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Theft
‰A resident of the 2400 block of Garfield Avenue told police Monday someone had broken in and stolen a bag of clothing.
‰Walmart on Monday reported a woman who allegedly made a fraudulent return in the amount of $158. Police have a suspect.
‰Walmart on Monday reported the theft of merchandise worth $348.
‰Second Hand Rose, 2284 Carter Ave., on Monday reported the theft of merchandise worth $14. The merchandise was recovered and police have a suspect.
‰The National City Bank in Walmart reported a woman cashed checks on a closed account. The total amount of the checks was $33,334. Police have a suspect.
‰A resident of the 2300 block of Harrod Street reported the theft of a 12-gauge shotgun. The gun was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
