MOREHEAD — Police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Rowan County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police said in a news release Saturday that 27-year-old Tina Watkins, of Salt Lick, was found dead in her cell around 5 a.m.
Police said she was in jail on a charge of driving under the influence, but no arrest date was given.
An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday at the state medical examiner's office, but officials do not suspect foul play.
