The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Robbery, assault and menacing
‰Police arrested two Ashland residents Monday on second-degree robbery, third-degree assault and menacing charges after an alleged theft of a cell phone.
The two allegedly assaulted the victim in the course of the theft.
Criminal mischief
‰A man told police someone damaged his vehicle with a shopping cart while it was parked in the 2900 block of Blackburn Ave. A witness said she saw a young man push the cart across the lot into the victim’s vehicle. The witness gave police the license plate number of the vehicle the young man left it.
‰A woman told police Monday someone damaged her car near 32nd Street and Central Avenue. She estimated damage at $800.
Indecent exposure
‰Two teenagers told police Wednesday they were walking from their car into Walmart when a man called to them when they walked by his vehicle. The victims said the man had his pants down exposing his penis and that he invited them to join him for sex. They described him as an older white man.
Burglary
‰A resident of the 300 block of Ferry Street reported damage to his back door in an apparent breakin Thursday. He estimated the repair cost at $300.
Shoplifting
‰Walmart reported shoplifting of merchandise worth $91. Police have a suspect.

Morgan man pleads guilty to assault
A Morgan County man entered a guilty plea in Morgan Circuit Court on Wednesday to second-degree assault charges in connection with the injuries he inflicted upon his wife in April 2011 at their home in Ezel, according to the office of Attorney General Jack Conway and his office of special prosecutions.
