FLATWOODS — Three were arrested in a drug raid at two homes on Beth Ann Drive Tuesday night.

James Bowen, Mary Beth Bowen and Steve Bowen were arrested and taken to the Greenup County Detention Center on drug-related charges, according to a televised report.

Mary Beth Bowen, 52, and James Bowen, 31, are mother and son, according to authorities. They were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.

Steve Bowen, who is Mary Beth’s ex-husband, was also charged with trafficking.

Authorities confiscated prescription drugs, cash, syringes and other drug paraphernalia at the homes.

Members of the FADE Task Force, Flatwoods Police Department, Russell Police Department and Vanceburg Police Department executed two search warrants at the homes around 7 p.m.

The raid came after an extended investigation that came because of complaints in the neighborhood.
