ASHLAND — Firefighters are battling a massive fire in the apartment buildings behind J&J Restaurants off 13th Street that started around 11:30 a.m.
Part of the building's roof has collapsed and firefighters are trying to keep the fire from spreading to other structures.
A kerosine heater was apparently what started the fire, according to authorities at the scene.
