GRAYSON —
Officers with FADE executed a search warrant just outside Grayson on U.S. 60 Wednesday afternoon.
Around 15 people were arrested in connection with the sting operation. A FADE spokesman said the substances that are suspected to be oxycodone and marijuana were located during the search.
Prior undercover drug buys of heroin and crack led to the sting. The bust, according to FADE, shuts down an active narcotics pipeline between Detroit and Carter County.
Beverly Lawson, 53, 0f Grayson, allegedly fled when FADE officers approached her at the scene. Lawson was booked into the Carter County Detention Center for an outstanding warrant, and it is unknown if more charges are pending.
Also arrested were: Edward Cabell, 55, Justin Evans, 24, Vanessa Gollihue, 20, Raymond Evans, 27, James Sagraves, 43, Noah Bunner, 58, James Holbrook, 59, Anthony Little, 28, all of Grayson, and Alicia Czeskleba, 33, of Ashland.
