The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Theft
A woman on Monday reported her wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 4400 block of Southview Road.
A man on Wednesday reported someone broke into his vehicle whilt it was parked at Movies 10 and stole a purse, a wallet, keys an MP3 player and various other personal effects, all valued at $120.
A woman on Wednesday reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of 17th Street.
A woman on Thursday reported her wallet was stolen from her purse at her office in the 1800 block of Carter Avenue. The wallet and contents were valued at $120.
Shoplifting
A 27-year-old South Shore man was arrested Thursday at Belk for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $190.
A 30-year-old Huntington woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $122 from Belk.
