The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Prostitution
‰Police charged a woman with prostitution in the 2400 block of Mayo Plaza after she solicited money for sex.
Theft
‰A thief stole compact discs and a bank statement from a car in the 200 block of 16th Street. The car window had been left unsecured.
Burglary
‰The Sunoco station on Winchester Avenue reported cigarettes valued at $5,625 were stolen in a burglary, along with $600 in cash.
Criminal mischief
‰An unknown person damaged two locked compartment doors on an Ashland city truck by prying on the doors.
Receiving stolen
property
‰A stolen pistol was discovered pawned at Jake’s Gun and Pawn.

A temporary 10-ton weight restriction is in effect on the Ben Williamson Memorial Bridge, which brings traffic from U.S. 52 into Ashland.
