Major meth lab found in Flatwoods

FLATWOODS — Police on Monday located a major methamphetamine manufacturing operation in a house in Flatwoods on Monday.

A total of 11 “shake and bake” meth cookers, along with 14 gassing generators, were found in the home in the 2400 block of Marsha Drive, according to the FADE Drug Task Force. Gassing generators are used to combine chemicals to produce hydrogen chloride gas, which is used to make meth.

Shan Parker, 27, and Ronnie Rowe, 32, both of Flatwoods, Kristina Bates, 20, or Argillite, were arrested and charged with manufacturing meth. All three were lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center, where they remained on Friday.
