The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary, assault
‰An Ohio woman was arrested on burglary and other charges Saturday night following an incident in the 600 block of May Court.
Shelley L. Patrick, 44, of South Point, allegedly forced her way into a residence and assaulted a woman living there, the APD said.
The incident occurred about 10:15 p.m.
Patrick was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and driving under the influence. She remained in custody Monday.
Burglary
‰Wildcat Wearhouse, 2120 13th St., on Friday reported someone had entered the store by unknown means and removed its safe, which contained $1,016 in cash, along with a black briefcase valued at $50.
‰A man on Thursday reported someone had entered his vacant rental home in the 1200 block of 29th Street and removed copper pipe valued at $150 from the basement.
‰A man on Friday reported someone had broken into his house in the 1600 block of Nichols Place and removed $400 worth of copper pipe from the basement.
‰A resident of the 2800 block of Nolte Street on Saturday reported someone broke into his home and stole pistols, worth a combined $200.
Theft
‰A man living in the 4600 block of Wanda Court on Saturday reported someone stole a weed trimmer, valued at $219, from his carport.
Shoplifting
‰Dollar General, 4216 Winchester Ave., on Friday reported the theft of merchandise valued at $119.
‰A 45-year-old Ashland woman was arrested Friday at Kroger for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $15.38.
‰A 27-year-old Catlettsburg woman was arrested Saturday at Walmart for allegely attempting to steal merchandise valued at $42.98.

Ashland’s city manager to retire
Ashland City Manager Stephen W. Corbitt announced plans this week to retire.
He told city officials Tuesday he wanted to leave his post on July 31 but has since agreed to stay on the job while the search for his replacement is conducted. That is expected to take four to six months. -
Commission meetings to change in August
Ashland City Commissioners voted 3 to 2 on Thursday to move its public meeting days and times.

SUMMER MOTION Lineup complete
The musical lineup for the 25th anniversary Summer Motion celebration has been set. Rockers Loverboy and country music legends Sawyer Brown are scheduled to play along with Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. and rock icons Styx in addition to several notable local and regional acts, according to Summer Motion President Cade Mahan.
