The 14th Annual Cave Run Storytelling Festival wasn't hampered by a steady rain Friday as 3,600 school children from eastern Kentucky schools rotated among the three pavilion-size tents for stories about lions, troublesome adults and spirits from the Otherworld.
The event, an anchor for autumn festivities, is held each year on the Twin Knobs Campground, a peninsula that stretches into Cave Run Lake.
The first two days of the three-day affair starts with local storytellers trying out their material. The last day, today, will start at 9:45 a.m. And carry through the day to 10:00 p.m. With ghost stories and a bonfire on the Twin Knobs Beach.
