4 sentenced in Boyd Circuit Court
CATLETTSBURG - The following were sentenced Thursday in Boyd Circuit Court:
‰Jonathan Enyart, 20, of Ashand, four years for theft and second-degree escape.
‰Brittney Wells, 24, six years for identity theft, credit card fraud and receiving stolen property.
‰Mark Morrison, 41, of Raceland, five years for first-degree drug trafficking.
‰Sarah Lawson, 31, of Olive Hill, six months for second-degree wanton endangerment.
Action agency meeting canceled
OLIVEāHILL - The Northeast Kentucky Community Action Agency Board of Director’s Tuesday meeting has been canceled.
OLBH to have free screenings
RUSSELL - Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital has announced prostate screenings to commemorate September’s designation as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
E.W. Unnikrishnan, M.D., will host screenings from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at his office on the OLBH campus.
Brian DeFade, D.O., will host screenings from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 23 in his office on the OLBH campus.

Drug awareness meeting planned
MEADS - The Ashland and Boyd County Prescription Drug Awareness and Prevention group will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kyova Mall.
Debbie Chandler Smith, who graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor of social work in 1995, will discuss understanding the addiction.
Chandler, who works for Community Hospice, previously worked at the Pathways Withdrawl Unit for three years and then the Bellefonte Behavorial Unit Chemical Dependency and Psychiatric Unit for nine years.
Southland sets alumni conference
MEADS - Southland Bible Institute will host an alumni conference at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Sept. 15 in the all-purpose building at 238 W. Southland Drive.

Ironton church to host revival
IRONTON - Ironton First Church of the Nazarene will host a revival Friday through Sunday at the church, 2318 S. Fourth St.
H.B. London Jr., vice president of church and clergy outreach for Focus on the Family, will speak at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Renee Martin, a background vocalist for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and others, will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday.
