The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
‰A woman on Friday reported several items of women’s and men’s jewelry had been stolen from her residence in the 3400 block of 29th Street.
‰A man living in the 2600 block of Forest Avenue on Thursday reported a lawnmower and weed trimmer had been stolen from yard.
‰A woman on Saturday reported someone stole her cell phone after she laid it on the ground while watching her children play. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Blackburn Avenue.
‰A woman living in the 2900 block of Moore Street on Friday reported the theft of a Nintendo Wii gaming console and five games from her residence.
Exposure
‰A woman on Friday reported seeing a man who wasn’t wearing pants in Central Park two days earlier.
Credit card fraud
‰A woman living in the 3300 block of Leffingwell Court last week reported someone had used her credit card information to make $678 in unauthorized online purchases.
‰A resident of the 2800 block of Hampton Street on Sunday reported his credit card information had been used to make $217 in unauthorized purchases, apparently in Tokyo.
Shoplifting
‰A juvenile was arrested Friday at Belk for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $530.94.
‰A 34-year-old man from Lesage, W.Va., and a 29-year-old woman from Milton, W.Va., were arrested Saturday for allegedly trying to steal items from Lidz and Rack Room Shoes in the Ashland Town Center.
