ASHLAND The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Theft
- A man living in the 2800 block of Hampton Street reported Thursday that an electronic item valued at $50 had been stolen from his car.
- A resident of the 800 block of Alexander Place on Thursday reported the theft of checks and of an electronic item valued at $100 from his car.
- A man living in the 4900 block of Robin Hood Drive on Wednesday reported the theft of tools, cash and jewelry, with a total value of $1,840.
- A woman living on the 2500 block of Hampton Street reported Wednesday that someone stole her purse from her vehicle.
- A man living in the 2400 block of Carroll Street on Wednesday reported the theft of a gun valued at $1,150.
Drugs
- Police on Tuesday arrested Brandon L. Perdue, 24, of Greenup, on a felony drug-possession charge following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Lexington Avenue.
Perdue allegedly had 20 oxycodone pills in his possession. He also was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended operator’s license.
Burglary
- A resident of Gibbs Court on Thursday reported that an electronic item valued at $400 was stolen in a break-in at his apartment.
Shoplifting
- An Ashland woman was arrested Friday at Wal-Mart for allegedly attempting to steal items valued at $79.87.
- A Greenup man was arrested Thursday at Wal-Mart for allegedly trying to shoplift merchandise valued at $35.93.
- The AT&T; Store, 817 Winchester Ave., reported Thursday that merchandise valued at $849.88 was missing from its inventory.
- A Catlettsburg woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly trying to walk away with $174.30 in Wal-Mart merchandise.
- A Wheelersburg woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly attempting to take items valued at $117.60 from Wal-Mart.
- An Ashland man was arrested Tuesday at Wal-Mart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $3.38.
