It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, even in downtown Ashland where the city’s donated tree stands in Judd Plaza. This year’s tree came compliments of Ronnie Bell, who lives with his wife on Regal Street, according to Winter Wonderland of Lights co-chairman Marion Russell. The tree has been donated to the city “for the last 15 years,” Russell said. “That’s as long as I’ve been a part of it.” The Christmas tree, which will be decorated today, stands as a centerpiece for the annual Christmas Parade, which takes place Tuesday. This year’s theme is “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” with the 201st Engineer Battalion as the co-grand marshals.
