ASHLAND — Local residents are being encouraged to visit participating business to select a card representing one of nearly 900 children and 621 families who need help with gifts and food for Christmas through The Giving Tree program.
Cards with names as well as the requests of children and families can be obtained at Chick-fil-A, Outback Steakhouse, Ambiance, Starbucks, the Ashland Army-Navy Store, Ashland Sporting Goods, Remax Realty, First Baptist Church of Ashland, and Sunday during the Magical Night of Giving at the Ashland Town Center Mall.
Participants are urged to select a card, make purchases based on the information and return their gifts to the place they got the card.
