Ashland woman charged with drug trafficking

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Drugs

‰Police arrested an Ashland woman on drug-trafficking charges at Ashland Town Center on Thursday.

Amanda N. Crabtree, 21, of the 2200 block of Pollard Road, was charged with first- and third-degree trafficking, according to records.

Police seized oxycodone, Xanax and $744 cash from Crabtree, who was also charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.

Burglary

‰Ashland Garage Door, 1290 Pitino Court, reported Thursday a number of its rental storage units had been broken into.

‰A woman living in Creek Bridge Apartments, 3100 Roberts Drive, reported Thursday jewelry valued at $55 was stolen in a break-in at her residence.

‰A woman living in the 3400 block of 13th Street reported Thursday her home had been burglarized and that household goods valued at $1,935 were missing.

‰A man living in the 100 block of 31st Street reported Wednesday someone broke into his home and stole various prescription drugs.

‰A resident of the 300 block of 49th Street reported Tuesday an electronic item valued at $2,300 was taken in a burglary.

‰Automotive Fast Lube, 800 29th St., reported Tuesday $150 cash was stolen in a burglary.

Theft

‰A man living in the 2400 block of Lynnhaven Court on Thursday reported the theft of $150.

‰A man living in the 3200 block of Park Street on Thursday reported the theft of tools valued at $200.

‰An Ashland woman reported Wednesday her purse was stolen at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

‰A woman living in the 1100 block of Oak Street on Tuesday reported the theft of jewelry, household goods and other items, all valued at $5,130.

‰Office Furniture USA, 2781 Winchester Ave., on Tuesday reported the theft of $300 cash.

Shoplifting

‰A Flatwoods woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $219 from Belk in the Ashland Town Center.

‰Carter Avenue Beverage Center, 2441 Carter, reported Tuesday someone had stolen merchandise valued at $89.97.

‰An Ashland man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly attempting to steal merchandise valued at $117 from Claire’s Boutique in the Ashland Town Center.

‰A Coal Grove woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $45.23 from Wal-Mart.
