Woman missing in Louisa

LOUISA — Emergency workers are looking in Lawrence County for an Ohio woman who went missing Wednesday.

Florence Tkach, 79, of Aberdeen has Alzheimer's Disease and has been missing since about 8 p.m. Wednesday. She had accompanied her caregiver to the Louisa area on a visit to the caregiver's family.

Nearly 100 people are searching for Tkach, who was last seen wearing a t-shirt, jeans and one shoe.
