Several thefts reported to the APD

ASHLAND — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:

Theft

A resident of the 800 block of Bath Avenue reported the theft of a blanket from his vehicle. The thief also damaged the glove compartment.

A resident of the 1700 block of Winchester Avenue reported the theft of a laptop, $190 in cash, a cellphone, and sunglasses from his home.

A resident of the 1600 block of Hilton Avenue reported the theft of $500.

A woman reported the theft of her purse, containing a billfold, checkbook, credit cards, $200 cash, her driver’s license and Social Security card. The woman works at CVS pharmacy and reported the purse stolen from the store’s break room.

Walmart reported the theft of merchandise worth $55.

Ashland Rental reported the theft of a trailer. The company reported someone rented a trailer and never returned it.

    Second Hand Rose Furniture in the 3200 block of 13th Street reported the theft of a compact disc and an audiobook. Store workers told police they saw the man leave the store and remove the items from his pants leg outside.
