The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰A man on Thursday reported someone entered a house he was remodeling in the 2000 block of Oakview Road and stole various building materials, lumber, insulation and interior doors, along with a stepladder.
Fugitive arrest
‰Police on Thursday arrested Aaron P. Matheny, 38, of Scarbro, W.Va., after a computer check revealed he had outstanding warrants in Fayette County, W.Va.
Matheny was arrested at Gla-Lo Apartments and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
Shoplifting
‰Police arrested two women, 20 and 21, on Thursday for allegedly trying to shoplift merchandise valued at $86.35 from Walmart on River Hill Drive.
