The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Theft
‰Big Blue Motor Sales, 1122 Winchester Ave., on Monday reported someone jacked up one of its vehicles, a 200 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71, and stole all four of the wheels and tires.
‰A man on Monday reported someone broke the rear window out of his 2000 Ford Explorer while it was parked in the 1200 block of Winchester Avenue, removed stereo equipment from the vehicle and also stole its wheels and tires.
‰A 29th street resident on Sunday reported the theft of a weed trimmer from his yard.
‰A resident of the 3500 block of Brenda Street on Monday reported a weed trimmer and leaf blower had been stolen from his storage building.

Morgan man pleads guilty to assault
A Morgan County man entered a guilty plea in Morgan Circuit Court on Wednesday to second-degree assault charges in connection with the injuries he inflicted upon his wife in April 2011 at their home in Ezel, according to the office of Attorney General Jack Conway and his office of special prosecutions.
