GREENUP
The Route 7 Branch of Greenup Meals on Wheels is in place and accepting new recipients. The route covers the area from Load to the Carter County line.
The cost per meal is $4. However, the group works with a sliding scale and depending upon income and expenses some recipients may pay little or nothing per meal.
The sole purpose of the program is to serve those who are elderly and/or disabled. It serves both long term and short term.
