The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰A woman living in the 2700 block of Crawford Street last week reported items valued at nearly $10,000 — a pair of vintage Gibson guitars among them — had been stolen in a burglary at her residence.
Entry to the house was gained by forcing open the rear door. Other items stolen included jewelry, watches, roughly 200 CDs, a box containing 12 Buck knives and 10 pieces of Victoria’s Secret underwear.
‰A man living in the 2400 block of Carroll Street on Friday reported someone broke into his home and stole two TVs, one 47 inches and the other 32 inches, worth a combined $2,790.
Drugs, DUI
‰Police last week arrested an Ohio woman on drug possession and DUI charges following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Lexington Avenue.
Mary Runyon, 34, of Proctorville, was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center on charges first- and second-degree drug possession, possession of a legend drug and DUI.
Theft
‰A man living in the 1400 block of Oakview Road on Friday reported the theft of a digital camera valued at $170.
‰A woman living in the 2500 block of Euclid Drive on Thursday reported various items valued at approximately $1,375 had been stolen from her home during the past several weeks. They included 20 Longaberger baskets, various antiques, a GPS unit and a small refrigerator.
‰A man on Sunday reported his license plate was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 2200 block of Winchester Avenue.
‰A man living in the 400 block of 30th Street on Sunday reported someone entered his vehicle and stole a backpack containing various items belonging to his son, including video games, DVDs and action figures. The items were valued at $400.
