OLIVE HILL — Fire raced through a carpet store in downtown Olive Hill Saturday night but no injuries were reported, according to the Journal-Times website.
Witnesses said Parker’s Carpets, site of a former garment factory, was fully engaged when firemen arrived.
Firefighters from Olive Hill and at least five other fire departments responded to the blaze just before midnight.
Adjacent buildings housing the Patrick Flannery law office and Tackett’s Furniture sustained smoke damage but apparently were saved from the flames, according to reports.
