The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰A resident of the 100 block of Lulu Street on Thursday reported someone entered her home through an unlocked rear door and stole prescription medication, a bolt-action .22-caliber rifle, a shotgun, a blue-tick hound and $300 cash.
Assault
‰A 20-year-old Ashland man was arrested early Friday morning on a misdemeanor assault charge following a domestic disturbance at the Bluegrass Inn, 1835 Winchester Ave. The alleged victim told police the suspect, her live-in boyfriend, had punched her in the head, choked her and slapped her. The woman had visible injuries, the APD said.
Shoplifting
‰A man and a woman from Catlettsburg were arrested Thursday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $304.37.
