Shoulder session set for Wednesday
ASHLAND
King’s Daughters Medical Center orthopedic surgeon Kevin Kulwicki, M.D., will discuss the shoulder and advances in shoulder surgery at a free educational session from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Park Board Room in King’s Daughters Parkview Café, 2201 Lexington Ave.
This event is open to anyone, although reservations are requested. Reserve your seat by calling 1-888-377-KDMC (5362). Light refreshments will be provided. Convenient parking is available in the lot at the corner of Lexington Avenue and 22nd Street, next to the KDMC Human Resources building.
Kulwicki practices at KDMC and is trained in a variety of surgical techniques, including minimally invasive shoulder surgery.
Ashland woman reports robbery
ASHLAND
A woman living in the 800 block of Montgomery Avenue reported a robbery on Monday, according to an Ashland Police Department press release.
The victim said a black male, approximately 6-foot tall with a skinny build, came into her residence with a cover over his face and demanded money.
She said he was armed with a handgun and got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
During the robbery a struggle ensued, and the victim received a minor head injury. She was transported to King's Daughters Medical Center for treatment.
