PIKEVILLE — Johnson Central and Pike County Central will meet Monday night at 7 for the 15th Region girls basketball championship at the East Kentucky Expo Center.
Johnson Central defeated Betsy Layne 53-42 and Pike County Central downed Pikeville 63-47 in the semifinals Friday night.
The teams met once in the regular season with Pike Central winning 69-52.
Johnson Central (24-6) and Pike Central (25-5) are the two winningest teams in the region.
