WESTWOOD — Eighteen high school teams are entered for Saturday’s Fairview Cross Country Invitational on the John W. Clark course.
Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. with the girls varsity race. Mason County, host Fairview and Charleston Catholic are Top 10 teams in the latest state rankings
The boys’ race is set for 10:15. Russell’s Matt Collins and Tanner Alexander are among the top contenders.
The meet also includes middle school and elementary divisions. In all, 414 athletes are registered to compete.
