The Comets (8-15) hit 18 of 20 foul shots compared to Raceland’s 2 of 6 to account for a key difference. Brown was 10 for 10 from the charity stripe. He had 16 boards.

Wheeler notched 22 points, Logan Fraley had 14 and Caitlin Coburn 11.
Brooke Callihan and Brooke Adkins had 11 points apiece for West (10-14).
Boyd County (19-7) also got nine rebounds from Emily Stewart.
