Browns release Jennings

WESTWOOD — According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns released running back Chris Jennings on Saturday in moves to finalize the 53-man roster.

Jerome Harrison, James Davis, Lawrence Vickers and Peyton Hillis were the four running backs kept by the Browns.

Jennings, a former Fairview High School star, accounted for the first rushing touchdown of the season for the Browns in 2009.

Jennings rushed 12 times for 27 yards during this preseason.
