Newspapers In Education (NIE)
  • What is Newspapers in Education (NIE)? Our newspaper not only serves as a "news" product, but also is an educational tool. It is the most up-to-date media available in print. It deals with issues from the "real world." Newspapers provide something for every student, increasing motivation, reading skills and test scores. The Independent offers a fresh look at events happening in our community today, as well as world events, from a perspective that makes it easy for children to understand. No textbook can do this as well — or as affordably.
