BIDWELL, OHIO —
Thelma Dean Hartsook, 75, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at her residence. She was a retired paralegal and a member of the Fellowship Chapel Church in Vinton, Ohio.
She was born July 7, 1937, in Flatwoods, a daughter of the late Henry and Norma Willis Williams. She married John William Hartsook on March 14, 1971, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Kevin Hartsook; and a great-grandson, Ethan Cochran.
Thelma is survived by two sons, Ray (Pat) Cochran of Columbus, Ohio, and Wesley “Keith” (Kim) Cochran of Bidwell, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Brown of Hillsboro, Ohio, Jillian (Brandon) Fitch of Long Bottom, Ohio, Brian (Timberly) Cochran of Columbus, Ohio, Lesa (Drew) Phillips, of Kentucky, and Justin (Bobbi) Hartsook of Belpre, Ohio; six great-grandchildren; a special sister and friend, Dorothy Nyswaner of Columbus, Ohio, and to you, she does say now, “Until we meet again, I love you More!;” two sisters-in-law, Erma Lou Ring of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Helen Williams of Wurtland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton, Ohio, with the Rev. Paul Ring officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
