Doris Moore Clark, 79, of Grayson, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law and surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Rev. Dave and Alice Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Clark Sr., on Aug. 1, 1981; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three sisters, Madonna Wilburn, Virginia Caldwell and infant Wilma Lee Moore.
Survivors include five daughters, Juanita Wilburn, Bertha (Patty) Moore, Peggy Ison, Hazel Clark and Hilda Jarvis; two sons, Harry Clark Jr. and John Clark; two sons-in-law, Lowell Wilburn and Mark Jarvis; two daughters-in-law, Anita Clark and Rhonda Clark; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virgie Flannery, Sarah Blanton and Ruby Marshall; and a host of friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Terry Harris and John Moore. Burial will be in Cribbs Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 13 and after 9 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at the funeral home.
