James “Buck” Newcomb - 1946-2009
James “Buck” Newcomb, 63, of Westwood, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 17, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
He was the widower of Claria “Dusty” Payne Newcomb.
His survivors include three children, Leslie Newcomb of Ironton, Hayley Newcomb of Ironton and Lori Delong of Coal Grove; five grandchildren, Davy, Christopher, Chelsea, Zach and Cody; and one great-grandchild, Kylie.

James Homer Bullion - 1918-2009
James Homer Bullion, age 91, of Argillite, Ky., died Saturday, June 20, 2009 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
He was born March 10, 1918, in Greenup County, Ky., a son of the late Scott Bullion and Rosie Morman Bullion.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Stacey Bullion on Jan. 25, 2009; two sons, Darrell and Kenneth Bullion; one daughter, Nola Hicks; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a self-employed farmer.
Surviving are seven sons and their wives, Bennie (Donna) Bullion of Ashland, Ky., Larry Bullion, James (Carol) Bullion, Jesse (Jean) Bullion, Jerry (Jean) Bullion and Phillip (Kay) Bullion, all of Danleyton, Ky., and Paul (Cindy) Bullion of Marion, Ohio; four daughters and their husbands, Bernice (Larry) Barker and Susie (Steve) Barker, all of Danleyton, and Sheila (Dave) Moore and Rosie (Tom) Johnson, all of Ashland; 33 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Bullion of Ashland and one sister, Juanita Hicks of Huntington, W.Va.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Danleyton Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Dennis Miles. Burial will be in Huff Cemetery.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Barker Jr., Stanley Barker, Tracy Barker, David Barker, Larry Barker, Travis Barker and Scottie Bullion.
Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to defer funeral expenses.

Brylee Joycelynne Ritscher, daughter of Henry Jonathan Ritscher and Chattie Marie Fairchild Ritscher of Wahiawa, Hawaii, died Monday, June 15, 2009 in Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Additional survivors include maternal grandparents, Joyce and Bob Fairchild of Gallipolis, Ohio; and paternal grandparents, David and Kathy Ritscher of Squaw Valley, Calif.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Hale Family Cemetery in Williamsport, Ky.
