BOWLING GREEN —
Mary Jo Littleton, 83, of Bowling Green, formerly of Grayson, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
Mary Jo was a native of Fleming County and was the daughter of the late William Thomas Claypoole and Ruby Flannery Claypoole.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Willis Calvin Littleton.
Mrs. Littleton was a homemaker, a Methodist and volunteered for the Red Cross and several civic and charitable organizations.
Mrs. Littleton is survived by a son, Dr. Scott Littleton and his wife, Paula; three grandchildren, Eric, Cara and Zachary; a daughter, Cindy Deaton and her husband, Gary; and a brother, Charles Claypoole and his wife, Paddy, of Flemingsburg.
A service to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in Everman Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
