William Fields Smith, 88, of Lucasville, Ohio, formerly of Greenup, died Monday in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born March 17, 1924, in Greenup.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Jean Smith.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in Smith-Claxon Cemetery in Oldtown.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and before services Friday at the funeral home.
