GREENUP —
Barbara Manis, 79, of Greenup, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Mrs. Manis was born May 1, 1933, at York, a daughter of the late Edward and Nellie Stevens Imel. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Manis, and three brothers, Lawrence Imel, Raymond Imel and Curtis Imel.
She was a member of Three Mile Christian Baptist Church in Greenup.
Surviving are three sons, David (Pam) Manis and Gary Manis, both of Greenup, and Mark (Becky) Manis of Williamstown; three grandchildren, Randy, Amy (Chris) and Kimberly; and a great-granddaughter, Allie Jo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Darrell Musick. Burial will be in Rude Cemetery in Flatwoods.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
