RUSSELL —
Clarice Faye Boggs, 75, of Russell, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Merdie and Memphis Pickle Boggs.
Faye was of the United Baptist faith and enjoyed spending her time visiting with family and friends.
She had a special relationship with her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, James Delano Mckenzie, in 2010.
She is survived by four brothers, Clarence Boggs of Ashland, Earl Boggs of Greenup, Albert Boggs and wife Chriss of Kitts Hill, Ohio, and Frank Boggs and wife Vickie of Ashland; two sisters, Lois Wilson of Catlettsburg and JoAnna Snyder and husband Jim of Ashland.
Faye will surely be missed by those who knew her and who had an opportunity to share stories with her. She was a precious lady.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by Elders A.J. Williamson and J.D. Riggs. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.
