Summer Ann Adkins, 2, of Rush, went on to be one of God’s Little Angels on Monday, March 26, 2012, from King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Summer was born Sept. 9, 2009, in Ashland, daughter of John Thomas Elliot and Brittany Nicole Adkins. She was a beautiful baby girl who brought summer sunshine with her smile.
Summer has left one brother, Jonathan Thomas Elliott Jr; and two sisters, Arron Levi Mickalls and Samantha Rae Samons; maternal grandparent, Cheryl Kinner Lewis and the late Dale Arron Lewis; paternal grandparents, John Thomas Elliott and the late Charlotte Ann Elliott; maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Betty Kinner Grate, and Julia Lenora Williams Kinner.
Also surviving are uncles, James Kinner, Billy Kinner, Michael Kinner, Shawn Siders, William Adkins, Bobbie Siders, Ron Franklin Harrison, Justin Wilson, Jason Kinner, David Bradley and Larry Mickalls; aunts, Lenora Kinner, Diane Elliott, Diana Kinner, Dova Christian, Crystal Mickalls, Jonda Elliott and Kristy Bell; other grandparents include, Dora Wilson, Ron Christian, Jim Siders, Sandra Lou Daniels and Henry Franklin Daniels Jr.
Graveside service will at at 1 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Kinner/Ross Cemetery, Bear Creek, Catlettsburg with pastor Fred Wiles officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg.
