Violet Sue Marcum

On Feb. 7, 2010, at 12:37 a.m., Violet Sue Marcum went to be with the Lord. Many knew her as Mom. She left this world knowing she was loved.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Marcum; a son, Lewis Shepherd; and three daughters, Janora Barnett, Tina Gibson and Dorothy Shepherd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was most known at the Hillbilly Flea Market as Sue, where she ran her business for 23 years and was loved and adored by many.
