Evelyn King Newman, 79, of Olive Hill, died Tuesday in St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born Oct. 4, 1933, in Carter County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Newman.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
