Donald Ray Minnehan, 66, of Ashland, passed away in Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ashland on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
He was born Nov. 11, 1946, to the late Samuel and Dorothy Simmons Minnehan. He was a night watchman at Johnson’s Dairy and a member of the Eagles.
He is survived by a brother, James Minnehan and wife Imogene of Flatwoods; sisters Anna Louise Molenda of Florida and Betty Dooley of Ashland; nephews Matt and Mike Minnehan of Ashland, Peter Paul Molenda of Ashland, Leo Molenda of Ironton, Ohio, and Walter Molenda of Florida; eight nieces, Alice Blackburn and Susie Kinney of Ashland, Cheri Sturgeon of Atlanta, Ga., Pam Williams of Burlington, Brittany Minnehan of Ashland, Brandi Minnehan of Ashland, Erin Lewis of Ashland and Cassandra Plumley; three great-nieces, Lisa Delaney of Georgia, Jennifer Williams of California and Ashley Plumley; and a great-nephew, Travis Plumley.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Charles S. Bush. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
