FLEMINGSBURG —
Emma Marie Duke, beloved six month old daughter of Scott and LeeAnn Zepernick Duke of Flemingsburg, joined the Heavenly Angels on Wednesday, in Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Emma was born Aug. 1, 2012, in Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, and brought great joy to her parents, Scott and LeeAnn; paternal grandmother, Jennifer Murphy Duke of Flemingsburg; maternal grandparents, Anna and Kurt Zepernick of Mt. Sterling; paternal great-grandfather, Gerald Gieseler of Nashville, Michigan; and maternal great-grandparents, Libby and Vernon Martin of Camargo.
Emma also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Michael Duke, and paternal great-grandmother, Kathy Murphy.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel in Morehead with Pastor Terry Frerichs officiating. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
Pallbearers will be, Scott Duke, Matt Brumm, Taylor Congleton and Kurt Zepernick.
