ASHLAND —
Martha Jean Phillips Webb, 87, of Ashland, a former resident of South Shore, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 23, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles D. Phillips and Myrtle C. Sexton Phillips.
She was a homemaker and a member of Radiance Chapel of Eastern Star in South Shore. She dearly loved flowers, gardening, birds and cats.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Webb; two brothers, Ralph Phillips and Robert Phillips; and her husband, Cloice Paul Webb, who died May 30, 2000.
Surviving are her brothers, John Phillips of Portsmouth and Pete Phillips of South Shore.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore by the Rev. Norman Potter. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
