Craig Stephens, 38, of Rush, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in Huntington Health Rehabilitation.
He was born Jan. 28, 1974, in Louisville, to Jimmie and Ann Stephens.
Craig attended Boyd County High School and was employed at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He enrolled at Ashland Community College when he became disabled in 2009.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Kendall Blake Stephens whom he loved dearly; a sister, Lauren Griffith of Lexington; aunts and uncles, James (Mary) Cassidy of Bowling Green, Joyce Pizamo Cano of Bowling Green, Dan (Lily) Cassidy of Germany, Becky Cassidy of Texas and a special aunt and uncle, Charlene (Charles) Smith of Bowling Green and many special friends.
A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Coalton Cemetery by Pastor Roger Dale Watkins.
Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
