CATLETTSBURG —
Mrs. McKnight was born Feb. 4, 1931, in Redstone, Pa., daughter of the late Cecil and Mae Cottle Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McKnight.
Oakley attended Thomas R. Brown High School and was a clerk at Freedman’s Department Store in Catlettsburg. Oakley loved to cook for her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Wolfe (Michael) of Fairmont, W.Va., Edna Vaughan (Jack) of Catlettsburg, William Yates (Donna) of Ashland, and Orville Yates of Catlettsburg; brothers, Cecil Clark (Vertrice) of Cleveland, Ohio, James Clark (Nan) of Arkansas, and Rudy Clark (Susie) of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, June Dellenbaugh of Boynton Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Neal Funeral Home on Center Street in Catlettsburg. Pastor Roger Branham will officiate. Final rest will be in Bash Cemetery in Catlettsburg.
Visiting hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
