Amelia F. Burns Hatfield - 1935-2012

ASHLAND — Amelia F. Burns Hatfield, 76, of Ashland, died Friday, July 27, 2012 in Kingsbrook Life Care Center.

She was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Boyd County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Wooten Burns.

She was a member of the Whites Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Henry H. Hatfield; a son, Steven H. Hatfield and wife Ernestine of Ashland; three sisters, Johnnie McKnight of Catlettsburg, Pauline Cumpton of Xenia, Ohio, and Carlene Armstrong of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Cecil Burns of Catlettsburg; three grandchildren, Rusty Hatfield, Carey Moore and Brian Hatfield; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb Moore, Ella Jo Hatfield and Corey Triplett.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Dale Maddy. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
