Sherner Gary McCloud, 57, of South Shore, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at his residence on Beechy Creek.
He was born Oct. 27, 1954, in Logan, W.Va., a son of the late Sherner McCloud and Bessie Workman McCloud.
He was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U.S. Army during Desert Storm.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Adams McCloud of South Shore; a son, Sherner (Stephanie) McCloud of South Shore; a daughter, Stacy (James) Baldridge of Huddleston, Va.; four sisters, Audra (Frank) Carter of Mud Fork, W.Va., Mable Pritt of Charleston, W.Va., Dorothy (Lee) Hatcher of Cleveland, Ohio, and Brenda (Jess) Toney of Florida; and five grandchildren, James, Noah, Jason and Jamielynn Baldridge and Conner McCloud.
Also preceding him in death were an infant son; a grandson, Caleb Ray Baldridge and seven other Baldridge souls; and Sherner’s father-in-law and mother-in-law, Enoch Adams and Elizabeth Adams.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore by Pastor John Hannah. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery in South Shore.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
